New Life Community Church

Our Ministries

Kids Incredible

New Life Community Church is known for its excellent ministries to children. The children's ministry, entitled Kids Incredible, has a variety of educational offerings to aid children in their spiritual growth. Those include nursery, Sunday School, Club 56, Incredible Church, Family Services, and Wednesday Night Kids Incredible activities. There are also several special events throughout the year—the largest being the Fall Fun Fest which draws several hundred. Our children's department wing has recently undergone a remodeling with theme rooms and multi-colored hallways that appeal to children.

The Edge Youth Ministry

New Life Community Church has a thriving youth ministry called "The Edge." Under the current direction of Pastor Mike and a team of adults, The Edge uses a variety of methods to help teenagers grow in their faith.

A recent addition to The Edge program is Club 78, a special program for 7th– and 8th-graders. Two couples work with this group which meets on Wednesday evenings. Club 78 members begin in The Edge service for worship, but following worship move to their own room for Bible lessons and activities. This group also plans activities outside the church for fun and fellowship.

Next Dimension

Begun in May 2005, Next Dimension is New Life's ministry to young adults, ages 18-30. Whether single or married, Next Dimension desires to be a place of refuge, a safe place where God's love can be experienced. The Next Dimension Ministry Team strives to connect young adults with other young adults and with Christ.

"This is a place where we can talk about real-life issues, a stress-relief valve," noted a Next Dimension member.

Next Dimension has two scheduled events per month. These include small group gatherings, Bible studies, campfires, nature hikes, beach days and bowling.

Target Men's Ministry

This ministry strives to provide several opportunities for men to interact and grow in their faith. Target Men's Ministry meets mainly on Saturday mornings (6:30 a.m.), with a weekly breakfast at Little Babes Café in Mukwonago, and Bible study (7:30-9:00 a.m.) at the church following breakfast.

When a specific need arises involving physical labor, Target Men's Ministries often rises to the occasion by providing the manpower to accomplish the needed task.

Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry is established to provide fellowship opportunities, encouragement and the equipping of women through Bible study and various activities.

Some of these activities include spring and fall women's conferences, ladies Bible studies (often offered at three different times per week), a shopping trip to a mall, Swim Like A Fish gatherings, and the annual Mother/Daughter/Friend Banquet. It's Helping Hands Ministry springs into action when a family is in need, providing meals.

50+ Ministry

50+ is a new ministry geared for adults 50 years of age and older. It plans to meet 4-6 times per year and incorporate a variety of activities. So far it has had a potluck supper and a game night. Plans include movie nights, excursions, and picnics. The next meeting is planned for this summer. This group is open to community members.

Missions & Outreach

New Life Community Church has taken two mission trips to Mexico since 2004, and hopes to take another foreign missions trip in 2007. While in Mexico, the participants have built homes for needy families, conducted a Vacation Bible School and begun construction on a residence for one of the missionaries NLCC supports.

In addition to foreign trips, NLCC has begun local outreaches, currently featuring booths this summer at MukwonagoFest and Maxwell Street Days. A group from NLCC spends one Saturday every two months assisting at a community outreach at City On A Hill, Milwaukee.
